A: It’s best to focus on exploring new ways of enjoying veg & making awesome plant based meals, rather than just removing meat from your usual meals & feeling like something is missing.

Food choices can be tough to talk about. I get it. Diets are so personal & dependent on each individual’s needs, culture, access, income & availability. But, if you can, cutting down on meat & dairy really is a huge step to living more sustainably.

The meat industry leads to:

  • Mass deforestation (to clear land for the animals as well as the soy, grain etc grown to feed them).

  • Methane from cows and fertiliser leading to crazy amounts of greenhouse gas emissions.

  • Pollution of streams, rivers and, ultimately, the ocean.

It’s also impossible to ignore the cruelty aspect. 😔 Okja & Cowspiracy on Netflix are great to watch if you want to know more.
