How to eat more veggies?
A: It’s best to focus on exploring new ways of enjoying veg & making awesome plant based meals, rather than just removing meat from your usual meals & feeling like something is missing.
Food choices can be tough to talk about. I get it. Diets are so personal & dependent on each individual’s needs, culture, access, income & availability. But, if you can, cutting down on meat & dairy really is a huge step to living more sustainably.
The meat industry leads to:
Mass deforestation (to clear land for the animals as well as the soy, grain etc grown to feed them).
Methane from cows and fertiliser leading to crazy amounts of greenhouse gas emissions.
Pollution of streams, rivers and, ultimately, the ocean.
